The First Annual Golf Classic Tournament Hosted by the Arians Family Foundation in Tampa!

It was a sort of reunion for SuperBowl champs, coaches, and the Buccaneers front office staff who came together to support their head coach and the Arians Family Foundation at their yearly golf tournament in Tampa for the first time this year.

The tournament started with a kickoff dinner at the Innisbrook Golf Resort & Spa on Sunday night. This was graced with a special performance from country music maestro Chase Rice. Familiar faces that lined the red carpet include Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski, and other NFL players.

In their speeches, Brady and Gronkowski showered praises and showed support to coach Bruce Arians and Arians Family Foundation. The event’s theme was to help children under the foster care system, mostly from broken families. Arians Family Foundation works with Court Appointed Special Advocates and Voices of Children to guide the children through the legal and foster care system. The foundation has partnered with the Guardian ad Litem organization in Tampa, which also works closely with Voices for Children since 1986.

Annual golfing tournaments and other events are essential to their cause and can help many children. Arians stated that they want to raise much awareness and money as they try to get people who wish to volunteer. This is something that will also benefit the children. Christine Arians, Bruce’s wife, has also spearheaded the cause and is a Court Appointed Special Advocates member.  The event presented by the Buccaneers also had a live auction during the dinner part where over $750,00 was raised to support the foundation in its cause. After the Sunday dinner, there was an actual golf outing on Monday at the Islands Golf Course of Innisbrook, which attracted more celebrities and Buccaneers players. The Bucs also brought with them a lot of team sponsors to support the Arians Family Foundation. Buccaneers Co-Owner Darcie Glazer Kassewitz also pledged to support the foundation.
